Scenario 1 — Performance management workshop
The design of a company specific Performance Management workshop. To ensure the maximum effectiveness of their performance management system, a Mercer client requested the development of a performance management workshop that would incorporate information about the system and processes unique to the company. Mercer consultants embedded the processes with the company's own case studies and stories, to bring the learning alive and make it immediately relevant for the learners. This approach ensured a greater adherence to the performance management process that had existed prior to the implementation of the workshops.

Scenario 2 — Leadership development program
A famous luxury goods company approached Mercer to help them develop their front-line junior and middle managers around the Asia-Pacific region. Mercer developed a customized program consisting of personality and emotional intelligence assessments, individual coaching, facilitated workshops, and action learning, which was delivered in both China and Australia. The success of the program contributed to the company's commitment to ongoing development of their leadership pipeline.

Scenario 3 — Learning for adults
Moving from content overload to a facilitated educational approach. A Mercer client wanted to improve the application of learning through taking a more adult learner-centered approach to the company's delivery of training. The Mercer instructional designer transformed the old training content into interactive facilitator-led training that incorporated simulations and exercises to ensure that learners were able to apply their new learning upon return to their workplaces.
